Justice League wasn't met with the best response from critics or fans, and some believe that could change by Warner Bros. simply erasing what contributions Joss Whedon made to the film and instead releasing a version featuring only Zach Snyder's original vision.
Following a petition on
Change.org, fans who prefer Snyder's vision of the DC Extended Universe have now launched a website seemingly dedicated to convincing Warner Bros. to release a Zach Snyder Director's Cut of
Justice League.
Following the tragic death of his daughter, Snyder stepped away from
Justice League, with Warner Bros. bringing in Joss Whedon to finishing writing and directing the movie's reshoots. Whedon also brought in a new composer in Danny Elfman. The belief is that all of these changes led to
Justice League becoming a much different movie than the one Snyder intended on releasing, and now fans want to see that version.
With over 150,000 signatures on the original petition, fans are now looking for their voice to be heard from a new website,
ForSnyderCut.org. There's currently nothing but a picture of Snyder and a countdown clock presumably counting the days until the website officially launches. It's unclear what will be hosted on the website, but the domain name itself speaks volumes. Fans want to see Warner Bros. release a Zach Snyder Director's Cut of
Just League, and it looks like they won't stop until that happens.
