Bleeding Cool have some scans up from the first few pages of Kick-Ass: Balls To The Wall which debuted in mark Millar's CLiNT magazine(Yes, its supposed to look like the word c#nt..always with the droll humor that Millar!)

Anyway, it seems that young Mindy McCreedy has pretty much abandoned any attempt to live a normal life and is instead training Kick-Ass with the ultimate goal to be a super team!..









Given that we know the film will also feature a team assembled by Red Mist(This time calling himself The Mother [frick]er apparently), its a safe bet that the big battle in New York that Millar previously mentioned is going to be a team of super heros VS a team of super villains. Awesome.

Has anybody seen the movie Equilibrium? I just realized that Hit-Girl's scene in the library is REALLY similar to a scene towards the end of that movie. At least if memory serves. Have to re-watch.

I hope he gets a Gwen Stacy type Girlfriend though and The Mother[frick]er kidnaps her or something thing kills her.

I sorta wish they would water down the profanity a little bit....

"The Mother [frick]er" sounds wicked awesome, but it's kinda over-the-top, even for Kick-Ass...

She did go off to meet her mom. That's the mom's new husband. If I remember right he was the cop who investigated Mindy's kidnapping. He never said anything in the first comic but he WAS there.

Yeah Mindy's mom did marry the investigator and it does say in the comic that they did so, it's in the panel with Mindy's mom pushing her on the swing.

@JoshW, That's what I was thinking. WTF? Hopefully, her mother remarried and is now with Marcus so there's some continuity. If not, then it's just f-ed up.

Nice find. I've been looking everywhere for some info on the sequel. Kick-Ass was without a doubt my favorite movie of the summer, and I can't wait to see the sequel and read the next comic in the series.

I hope the second book is as good, acid and f¿Çked up as the first one. I felt some of that missed to the movie, I liked it was good, but it could have been better.

If Chloe Moretz is unable to do KA2: BTTW, Jessi Slaughter, a real life 11 yo "Hit Girl" is my second choice...
