Black suit and shades maybe in the future of actor Josh Brolin, who is not a stranger to single initials when he starred in W, as he is reported to be part of the next installment of Men in Black.

The role is yet under wraps but a possibility will be a new agent, or a young agent K, or the villain for the piece until more could be announce most of it will just be speculations for now.

Will Smith is already expected to return as Agent J. Production may start 2010. The film is based on the script by Etan Cohen of Tropic Thunder, which would probably be directed by Barry Sonnenfeld director of the first two movies.

I loved the first two films and if Brolin is added to the mix it could only get better.

-access out. Godspeed!

First one was good...second one just recycled the jokes from MIB 1. I hope this one is a bit more original!

A young K seems very likely IMO.

Maybe J goes back in time...

Josh is known as a serious actor, it's hard for me to see him in a comedy. He's got the chops as an actor, maybe we're looking at the next Alec Baldwin.

@ assassin

It's hard for me to consider him a "serious" actor when he started his career as a Goonie. But I feel you on the next Alec Baldwin, he is very talented.

Nice, Josh Brolin would be an awesome actor for MIB 3. I cant wait for the third movie, Im hoping for it to be better than the second one though. I liked the second one and all but Bamf7 is damn right about it, it did just recycle jokes from the first one. Maybe with the Tropic Thunder writer writing it, it could be hilarious! Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones and Rip Torn better be back for it though.

I hope this will be the last MIB movie as they could end the trilogy with a good quality movie and anyway, the actors will be getting way too old for their roles after the third one. I would love to see the third movie going back to the original comics and incorporating some of the original ideas into it such as the MIB being an organisation who is attempting to control the world by hiding the existence of aliens. Maybe the plot could be that K and J have to hunt down and wipe the memory of a rogue agent who is trying to expose the purpose of the MIB. K and J think this agent is trying to stop the good work of the MIB but they begin to see the true purpose of the MIB and they spend the movie trying to take the organisation down while fighting alien mercenaries which are working for the MIB. Just a different idea they could use
