After Men In Black 3 grossed an impressive $625 million at the worldwide box office last year (the highest in the series), it was confirmed that a fourth film was, unsurprisingly, in the works. Now, a writer has been hired. According to The Wrap, screenwriter Oren Uziel (who wrote the Mortal Kombat: Rebirth fanfilm, and was set to co-write a big screen reboot with director Kevin Tancharoen) will pen Men In Black 4. He has also been hired to rewrite the 21 Jump Street sequel (which has a recently announced release date of June 6th, 2014), which he will work on before MIB4. Of course, story details are being kept under wraps. While it hasn't 100% confirmed, it's likely that Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones will reprise their respective roles as Agents J and K, and they both expressed interest in doing another film. Additionally, Uziel has in development at Sony the monster mash-up The Kitchen Sink. What do you want to see in a fourth Men In Black movie?

They should up their game on this fourth installment. MIB movies always lack action.

if they are making a 4th M.I.B then they should end it the way the original started. have J and K stop some sort of minor alien trouble maker, k is getting to old and [frick]s up. then J and K talk about the stars before J erases K's memory. before the credits roll show J tracking down the new recruit who is to replace K.

I know ifs a fan film but, this being written by the same guy who wrote Mortal Kombat: Rebirth (not like the director is any good to begin with), MIB4 is going to be automatically shit until a better writer comes along.

Wow, all these studios are really moving forward with their franchises.

I hope Fox does the same with X-Men 4 (and no, Days of future past isnt X4, its more like a crossover)

Oh for f**k's sake, let this franchise die!

It was entertaining, we all had a few good
laughs and a good time. But it's time to
move on now. Jones is almost 70 freaking
years old, the military has a cut off age
for men who are too old, does MIB just employ
you as a field agent for life or something?

And Will Smith needs to find a better way
to try and resurrect a career that clearly
peaked years ago.

Awesome lets hope Jones has a bigger role in the 4th one.

But the 3rd one was almost like a send off. And it was a good way to return to the franchise and also finish it. Why come back to it and probably ruin it?

dont bring Tommy Lee Jones back. he is getting old and I thought that was one of the main reasons they decided to go back on time with a younger character with Josh Brolin.

What I would do is bring only Will Smith back and add another character of the same age or younger. I would actually prefer somebody younger like on 20s to be will smith new partner.

REALLY? Whyyyyyyyyyyy? I love the MIB trilogy, but let it be finished. Will Smith was starting to look bored and Tommy Lee Jones just didnt care and was too old

UNLESS they continue on where they left off with young K, and have a trilogy that goes from the 1969 to 1995, otherwise please just end it

@TheBeard
they did that already, it was the end of the first one...and then success led to two inferior sequels

It should end with the third, it brought everything full circle.

Look...

If you don't want to see another then speak for yourselves and just stay home when it comes out. But Me...I WANT to see another one. The last one was FANTASTIC!

I get not wanting to see people remark a CLASSIC movie and FRICK IT UP... I completely understand that.

But this Series is started itself and overall has been pretty good and entertaining.

I LOOK FORWARD TO MIB4!!!

MIB3 surprisingly kicked ass. Josh Brolin was fantastic, I loved the twist at the end, it was the first MIB movie that had dramatic tension, and I loved the whole time travel plot (including all of the time travel sequences which looked stunning). The only thing that held it back were some awkward jokes, that's basically it. It's as close to a 5 out of 5 as can be for me, and it's one of my favourite threequels in human history. :D

If the fourth instalment can be anywhere near as good as the third one, I'm in... but they gotta bring Brolin back somehow (Bill Hader returning as Andy Warhol would be pretty sick as well).
