Her brother is crazy? How'd that happen? What is death in the family about? Can anyone tell me?

James Gordon jr was made psychotic by none other than Scott Snyder in his detective run. His black mirror story may even be better than his court of owls story, I'm not sure yet I need to go and read court of owls again.

@Grifter: I don't know when it first started, but a recent and major - and all 'round considered EXCELLENT - part of the story is Scott Snyder's BATMAN: THE BLACK MIRROR. Google it (but beware of spoilers, as it's a mystery/thriller story).

LEVITIKUZ, DC was forcing Gail Simone to write Batgirl a certain way for Death of the Family. She didn't want to, so she got kicked off the book, she'll be back after everything to do with the event is over.

Looks like they're dry humping on the cover.

So she just conveniently gets a brother?

And now that Death Of The Family is over they'll promptly forget she was in a wheelchair. @Canon: Apparently, she's always had one, but he got put on the back burner after Jim Gordon got divorced.

I always wondered why we never heard anything about James Gordon Jr. Making him a villain seems like an interesting route to take.

@pepe: I guess you haven't been following the new DC stuff? They decided to take her out of the chair. She 'recovered' from being shot in the back by The Joker. If you've seen me around, you've probably read my bitching and whining about it. Once all of the shock value wears off she'll wind up another DC character who may or may not be worth paying attention to month to month.

Im glad Simone is coming back. I can't stand Fawkes' 3rd person narration.
