Texas chainsaw massacre was a classic and the reboot kicked ass!!! Friday the 13TH was a classic and the reboot wasn't smelly chunks(unles you hated the entire franchise), it was decent (with a shitload of tits in it, perfect nipple placement included). And this one's no different! Plus, you can't get a better actor for it too!!! So honestly, this movie has the least amount of reasons to complain compared to the rest that are comin' up!!!

Robocop flew in the third and despite what you guys say, yes it counts LOL. I wouldn't mind any of those reboots provided they be done right!!!

Jack Nicholson will forever be Joker for me but i still as much enjoyed Ledger's take on him!

I am just getting tired of everything being remade. Yes I enjoyed some of the reboots but we really could have done without most of them. I just don't think that Elm Street needs to be redone. The first one to me was the best one out of the entire series.

meh. I dunno I have mixed feelings about this movie. Friday The 13th remake was actually awesome. But Nightmare is my fav franchise horror wise and I'm worried they'll pull a bride of chucky and ruin the entire franchise, but they might actually do something great especially with all he new effects available. So I dunno.

I liked Bride of Chucky! It was funny as hell and Chucky looked killer, way more than that ol' "ginger" kid look he had before!

Honeslty, what the [frick] does it change if they reboot something??? REALLY!!!!! Rebooting the movie doesn't mean they erase the originals from the face of this earth for [frick]'s sakes!!! Your old safety blanket will always be tucked in nicely in your dvd collection , no one's gonna take that away from you so why bitch??? We saw Freddie's origins for the first time in Freddy vs. Jason! Did it screw up the franchise? NO, it was actually kick ass!!! Wether they continue or reboot, what does it change??? NOTHING!!!

not really a great set pic, although I am very excited for this movie

Haley showed us all he plays the [frick]ed up psychotic guy very well in Watchmen and other movies (Cant remember the name of the one where he is a pervert who cuts off his own penis) so I think he is a great choice for this remake (they are going to do it whether people bitch or not, may as well try and enjoy it)

I think the original movies were good but with the special effects of today, they can be truly messed up and bring a whole new generation to Elm Street.

To be honest a part of me is curious to see how they reboot it just as much as there is a part of that thinks this is a bad idea. Like others have mentioned cgi has come a long way and it would be really interesting to see what they could do. I was skeptical when Rob Zombie was going to do Halloween but I wound up liking it. But then again I always prefered Myers over Kruger. Personally I am just getting tired of all these reboots but I know that if they didn't do that we never would have gotten Batman Begins.

I dont like scary movies! i wont be watching this. I tried to see the last Texas Cahinsaw with my Ex Gf , the girl in the blue sweater and we both freaked out and only stayed cuz we didnt want to look like chickens and leave. That was the worst and we promised never to do that again. she was a hottie ! she will call soon and that will be a funny story to remind other of.

I heard they are remaking a new Chucky. Really, and Brad Dourif is returning.

They are filming "Nightmare on Elm Street" this week on the East Side,(Chicago,IL) using (old) Republic Steel mill and I think (old)Wisconsin Steel mill. They wrapped up last week in Gary,In. I've read they also shot in Barrington,IL and Elk Grove High School in Elk Grove, IL

LEEE- Batman didn't need a reboot, they could have done what Singer did with Sups and just continue on where "Batman Returns" ended. But they didn't and it was great so why not do it with other franchise??? If they bring in something new everytime, WHICH THEY'VE ALL BEEN DOING IN EVERY REBOOT, it will just be like watching a new movie of the same franchise.
