According to Stan it is still SPIDER-MAN 4! and he also talks about his other cameos

So here's Mr. Lee describing his cameos from Iron Man 2, Thor, and Spider-man 4. And thoughts about the next Spidey movie

So here's the Tweets:

Many of you ask what my cameos will be in Iron Man 2 and Thor and Spider-Man 4. No Brigadier must go unanswered, so here's the scoop---

In Iron Man 2 my cameo might make you think of Larry King! Can't say more than that or director Jon Favreau might take away my stunt double

I can't describe my cameo in Thor for you because director Ken Branagh hasn't clued me in yet. But he grinned and said it'll be real cool!

As for my cameo in Spider-Man 4, producer Laura Ziskin told me they'll cook up something worthy of my talent. That kind'a scared me!

Speaking of Spider-Man 4 (and everyone is!) remember this-- When it was first announced that Toby would play the lead, most everyone groaned

People felt Toby wasn't an action star. But look how great he turned out to be! When a new actor is chosen, the reaction'll be the same---

We don't yet know who'll next play Peter Parker, but remember this-- there are no greater Spidey fans than Sony and the Marvel film-makers--

Call me an incurable optimist, but as a superhero writer I know the good guys always win. Marvel & Sony are the good guys. So keep the faith

Of course, after all the encouraging things I've said, if they don't give me a big role in Spider-Man 4, there ain't no justice! Excelsior!

Hey, team, one last thing. Lots of you are saying "I thought Spidey 4 was cancelled!" No way, fellas-- it's just been given a later date..

Hey, if the Vulture's the villain, he's not very young! So maybe I can-- nah, won't work. I get air sick just stepping off a curb. EXCELSIOR

What got me intrigued is that he still call it Spider-man 4 and not Spider-man reboot. So is there something to that statement? Or senility is affecting our beloved Stan.

the guy at my local comic store thinks it might just be that raimi and crew just want more money and are bullshitting the company by saying he is dropping the project. His reason was because i guess tobey "hurt" his back before spidey 2(I was to young to care for rumors then so i really have no idea) and jake gylnhall was supposed to take the role and than out of no where tobey is fine. he said that was all for them getting there way and just thinks it might be possible raimi is doing the same

maybe when Stan gave his thoughts on the reboot did he mean that Sony would not disregard Raimi's take on Spidey?
in other words, when they said that Peter would be going back to high school, maybe they meant they would concentrate more on his senior year from the first Spidey film?
i'm just spit balling here but does this make sense?

@Keven. Kevin Smith is WAY worst than Stan. lol. Yeah I read these a few minutes ago and I was wondering if he missed something but then again he talked about the reboot yesterday and about having faith the reboot will work.

well if it is a sequel use lizard, and carnage to finish off the story so the holes will be filled in. if its a remake/reboot, well use the lizard and carnage, bring back doc ock,and venom and more gwen stacy. there you go the only way to go.

It would be too good to be true. I doubt Sony would listen to reason, they'll probably cast Sam Worthington instead LOL! Might work with CGI.
