Last night it was reported that Adi Shankar (producer of Dredd and the short films Dirty Laundry and The Truth in Journalism)  has a seven-part Judge Dredd miniseries focusing on the Dark Judges premiering soon, but it seems like that's not all! The official listing for his NYCC panel this Saturday seems to be hinting at another addition to his Bootleg Universe.

A brutally honest and unfiltered Q&A session with Filmmaker and unapologetic bootlegger Adi Shankar. There may be a surprise "Bootleg Universe" short featured at the Panel. Not for the easily offended. No suits allowed.

Although it is possible that this Bootleg Universe short could be the Dark Judges pilot episode, the fact that they are referring to it as a short seems to imply that it is going to be its own, standalone tale. Check back Saturday to find out more!

Very glad this guy is passionate about comic book related projects.
Need more people like him caring about them than just trying to make a buck.
