Batman: Gotham Knight is a 2008 psychological horror action animated direct-to-DVD anthology film of six animated short films set in-between Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. It depicts Batman battling against the mob of Gotham City, as well as other villains. The producers have acknowledged that it is not necessarily meant to be canon to the "Nolanverse," and indeed any of the six segments could easily fall into almost any Batman continuity. The shorts, or segments, are written by Josh Olson, David S. Goyer, Brian Azzarello, Greg Rucka, Jordan Goldberg and Alan Burnett. Although all based on Japanese anime art style, each segment has its own writing and artistic style, just as the works from the DC Universe, and with the same style of The Animatrix although some segments are connected.[3][4] All six films of the feature star Kevin Conroy, reprising his voice role as Batman from the DC Animated Universe.

I really wasn't a huge fan of either movie. I'd have to go with Gotham Knight because it was unique. All Star Superman was boring as hell and it had a lot of unneeded scenes that were just strange.

Lets see..... Kevin Conroy. Fit within a series as oppose to out of nowhere and disappointing folks. Deadshot! Different concepts of what amazing artists see when they close their eyes and think of batman. Stories that weren't too far fetched and entertaining. Showcased Batman's skills as oppose to Superman's new skills made for a story. I would love to see what would come if each of the shorts were episode or feature length, individually.

All-Star Superman showed Lex in a serious tone, only positive I saw. I mean the riddle that a Universal Powerful Being was on a newspaper that Superman remembered, not actually knew or realized. Lois gets powers again, yeah that hasn't been done a million times. Is Superman dead or not? Who cares.. they will bring him back through time travel or cloning or some other way because that is the only way you can make him interesting, is having the concept of death thrown in.

Gotham Knight takes the win.
