Get ready for old-man-Holmes! Iam McKellan will give his take on the iconic british sleuth in the currently shooting Mr. Holmes, which is scheduled for a 2015 release. He was spotted on set in his Sherlock Holmes outfit drinking a hot beverage during a balmy Monday morning in London, according to the Daily Mail.

Mr. Holmes will present a different take on the character when compared to the recent Robert Downey Jr. fiilms and the television series staring Benedict Cumberbatch. The film, directed by Bill Condon (Twilight Breaking Dawn: Parts 1  and 2), will take place in 1947 and follow a 93-year-old Holmes as he tries to solve one last mystery. It is based on the 2005 book, A Slight Trick Of The Mind by Mitch Cullin.

Along with McKellan the film stars Laura Linney as Mrs. Monroe and Hiroyuki Sanada as Umezaki.
