Well it seems a new director has been found for the adaptation of this Norwegian crime thriller.

Back in 2013 it was rumoured that martin Scorsese  was to direct the film adaption of jo nesbo's the snowman now however that's not the case as bleeding cool are reporting that let the right one in director Tomas Alfredson has landed directing duties for the film which hasn't begun pre-production yet the plot revolves around detective harry hole who's invastegating the dissapprence of a woman who's scarf is wrapped around a scary looking snowman.
