Lavanderman is one of the most recognizable superheros of Croatia. His derived his powers from the common, sweet-smelling plant lavender, which gave him the ability to fight superiorly against moths, mosquitoes, headaches, insomnia, and dizziness.
You could say he could be the cure for cancer.
The authors of Lavanderman are "mysterious." Apparently.
"The authors are mysterious characters who live in the shadow of the hero say the authors. Line by Vanco Rebac and writes Toni Favero."
-Wikipedia source (originally in Croatian)
The first issue came out in November 2008 in 200 pieces. It sold out immediately in the same month. The second issue debuted in May 2009. The third issue came out as the thickest; it involved seven writers.
They even made a movie on him!
He's [frick]ing bad-ass!
Okay...back on topic.
The film was directed by Zvonimir Rumboldt. Damian Markovina stars as Lavanderman, with Anja Alavanja co-starring. Tony Favero wrote the screenplay as Tomislav Krnic was director of photography.
