I found some interesting tidbits of information in two separate interviews Howard Stark actor Dominic Cooper did back in January regarding Fleming: The Man Who Would Be 'Bond' and the Agent Carter one shot that were overlooked (at least on here). I thought you guys may find it intriguing, so here we go! (Apologies if you've already seen this before.)
On Fleming (via ign):
"There was a lot to look at with regards to the biographies, with the letters that still exist. So I had a lot to work with. But the truth was that when you’re making a biographical piece, you certainly want certain elements of yourself to be in some way, at least, resemble that person. I look nothing like him. There’s no way I could possibly ever, ever be him. So I knew that we were starting from quite a fictitious place. And when I spoke to both Douglas [Rae; executive producer] and Mat [Whitecross; director] about this, it became clear that actually we were using that as the foundation of this very exciting drama about this man. And I was sort of at liberty to make him, in many ways, what I thought he probably would have wanted to be, or how he would have wanted to be perceived, which gave me a lot of freedom in terms of what I could do with the character."
On Agent Carter (via Collider):
"I haven’t seen it! I keep missing it. Is it any good? It was good fun doing that. I saw Hayley Atwell recently and she mentioned the whole idea of the Carter thing since the short. So yeah, any way that Stark could make a comeback I’d be well up for it, because he’s a really fun character to play and he’s so influential in the backbone of what they become. So I love being part of it and they’re an incredible group of people to be working with. They’re making some extraordinary stuff. I’d be well up for doing anything like that [again]."
On Whether People Recognize Him For Playing Stark:
"I don’t get recognized for being Howard Stark too much. It takes people quite a bit of time to realize that I play him, that that’s me, only real diehard fans. But no, it’s funny, not a great deal."
In other news, I forgot to mention this piece of info in my previous article, but according to Shock Till You Drop apparently,
"one day of shooting is already in the can. " No details about the film's plot has been revealed at this point, but rumor has it that the story may revolve around the first film's survivor Trish Jenner (Gina Phillips) teaming up with Jeepers 2's Jack Taggart Sr. (Ray Wise) to put an end to the reawakening Creeper's (Jonathan Breck) reign of terror once and for all to avenge her brother and protect her son, a potential victim of The Creeper. Other rumors doing the rounds include it could potentially explore some of the creature's backstory and that the infamous truck may make a reappearance. Supposedly the third film is intended to lead into a tv show, but at the moment who knows!
And finally, actor Anthony Ingruber was snapped on The Age of Adaline set alongside Blake Lively:
The Age of Adaline stars Blake Lively, Ellen Burstyn, Harrison Ford, and Anthony Ingruber. It follows the miraculous life of 29-year old Adaline, who stops aging after recovering from a near-fatal accident. Over the 20th century she embarks on an epic but isolated worldwide journey, keeping her secret, until she meets a man who forever alters her life. The film is due for release in 2015.
