The 1994 film Richie Richie is a live-action film adaptation of the Harvey Comics' comic book character of the same name. Ha, I bet some of you didn't know that. The film starred Macaulay Culkin ("Uncle Buck") as Richard Rich, Jr., aka Richie Rich. Wait, if his first name is Richard that means he could use the short name Dick. Then he would be known as Dick Rich. Nice! The film struggled at the box office only pulling in $38 million against a production budget of $40 million, but it was a huge hit with VHS rentals, pulling in an additional $125 million. Wow! Apparently, nobody wanted to be caught watching it at their local theater but they didn't mind seeing it at home. Guilty pleasure!

Below, are some miniatures that were created for two major sequences: the climactic battle on Mount Richmore and the attempted assasination of Richie Rich's father Richard Rich, Sr. (Edward Herrmann) and his mother Regina Rich (Christine Ebersole) while they flew to England on their Billion Dollar One (DC-3) plane. Oh, that Laurence Van Dough (John Larroquette) is so evil!

For this Macaulay Culkin film, a miniature Bas Relief version of the full sized set was sculpted by McCune Artists to be used for pyrotechnic and other physical effects.  Later, the actors were matted into the miniature for a seamless sequence. One scene required an in flight view of Richie’s private DC-3.  McCune Modelmakers created a highly detailed 1/10th scale model of the DC-3, which was wire guided for all the in flight cuts. - McCune Design

Superstar Macaulay Culkin ("Home Alone" 1 & 2) and four-time Emmy Award-winner John Larroquette ("Night Court," "The John Larroquette Show") star in this live action adaptation of the comic book adventures of an extremely rich boy and his efforts to do good in the world.

Actors: Macaulay Culkin, John Larroquette, Edward Herrmann & Christine Ebersole

I like that they went practical in this movie instead of turning it into a cgi heavy greenscreen flick.

@James99201

Being a repeat offender himself, Suh could be severely fined and should miss a game or two.
