We always love when movies give nods to their core fan base with Easter Eggs. It's a practice that's been done for longer than you think but it really became popular with the Captain America reference in Iron Man. This past summer we had some great ones in Captain America [the original Human Torch], Thor [Odin's vault], X-Men: First Class [Rebecca Romijn], and Green Lantern [Yellow Lantern Teaser].
However, I really love it when movies give us the not so obvious Easter Eggs, like J. Michael Straczynski's cameo in Thor as the farmer who first attempts to pull mjolnir from the crater. Or the Star Sapphire logo on Carol Feris' helmet in Green Lantern. It's always appreciated by the true fans and it's a nice reward for us as we get to experience the film on a different level from the casual movie goer.
Now for the voting. Let's toss aside whether we thought the film was good, bad, meh, etc. and whether the film performed well at the box office and with critics. Let's strictly look at Easter Eggs and decide which CBM of Summer 2011 rewarded it's fan base the most!

A virtual Easter egg is an intentional hidden message, in-joke or feature in a work such as a computer program, web page, video game, movie, book or crossword. The term was coined—according to Warren Robinett—by Atari after they were pointed to the secret message left by Robinett in the game Adventure. It draws a parallel with the custom of the Easter egg hunt observed in many Western nations as well as the last Russian imperial family's tradition of giving elaborately jeweled egg-shaped creations by Carl Fabergé which contained hidden surprises.
