The Matrix co-creators Larry and Andy Wachowski have reportedly left King Conan: Crown of Iron, the third movie about the swordsman barbarian created by Robert E. Howard. John Milius, helmer of the first film, is still attached to write and direct but there will be no Arnold Schwarzenegger in the film (due to his duties as California’s Governator).

IGN FilmForce sources say the Wachowski Brothers clashed with Milius over tone and direction of the film. The Web site offers two different versions of a screenplay Milius wrote for the film.
