VILLIANS Graphic Novel Picked up by Universal

Universal acquired the graphic novel "VILLAINS," from Viper Comics, putting it on the fast track for a movie adaptation.

"VILLAINS" was written by Adam Cogan and Ryan Cody and their story focuses on the bad guys, these villains get their due and tell their side of the story. The plot unfolds as they follow a young guy who meets a "Sevngali-style villian who takes him under his wing."

Writers Matt Jennison and Brent Strickland are writing the adaptation.

The project is coming from Idealogy's Matt Smith who is the executive producer and Jessie Garza from Viper Comics' co-produces.
