Following yesterday's intriguing teaser, the final theatrical trailer for Matt Reeves' War for The Planet of The Apes has been unleashed.

This is by far the most action-heavy look at the film yet, as Caesar (Andy Serkis) and his people vow to finish the war by any means necessary. Unfortunately for them, Woody Harrelson's ruthless Colonel has the very same mindset.

Check out the trailer below, and let us know what you think in the usual place.

In ‘War for the Planet of the Apes,’ the third chapter of the critically acclaimed blockbuster franchise, Caesar and his apes are forced into a deadly conflict with an army of humans led by a ruthless Colonel. After the apes suffer unimaginable losses, Caesar wrestles with his darker instincts and begins his own mythic quest to avenge his kind. As the journey finally brings them face to face, Caesar and the Colonel are pitted against each other in an epic battle that will determine the fate of both their species and the future of the planet.

@RagnarGolem - Funny how the headphones are the least real looking thing on there.

@RagnarGolem - The colour of the Empire writing shouldn't have been black, hides his headphones.

@MosquitoFarmer - I think it's because of the logo behind him.

I think 'War for the Planet of the Apes' is looking better and will be better than 'Dunkirk'.

Damn, the trailer was so cool, then they put a DAMN POP SONG in it, DOESN'T FIT! It ruined the trailer for me. :/

@RagnarGolem - Ikr? Seriously. They need to stop doing that. It works for a Guardians, or certain action movies. But more serious action movies, like Wonder Woman, Justice League, this one, etc. it comes off like a dad trying to use modern slang. They are just doing it to appeal to the younger audience and it's painfully obvious. Let's get someone to rescore this quickly.

Amazing! Looks absolutely incredible. I hope they don't kill Maurice. Big guy's been around from the start.

If Mark Wahlberg doesn't have a cameo I will be very upset.

@MosquitoFarmer - MArk Wahlberg does not exist in that universe. EVER! I want a PoA reboot after this just to wash away the bad taste the movie left.

@AdamWarlockHim - Haha. People would be so pissed/confused if a shuttle crashes to Earth and he walks out. Just a nice way to ruin it right at the end. Like having Godzooky show up at the end of a Godzilla movie.

To be honest I found the previous trailer MUCH better. I feel as though the 3rd and usually final trailer always has this mentality to go all out.

Sometimes more is less.
