New ALIEN: COVENANT Images Released As The Official Website Goes Live - Trailer Incoming?
The first trailer for Ridley Scott's Prometheus follow-up should be online at some point over the weekend, but in the meantime we have a couple of new official images from the sci-fi horror flick...
The official Alien: Covenant website is now active, which has led to speculation that the trailer can't be too far away. We are hearing that it's set to debut over the weekend at some point, but don't have any specifics.
However, we do have a couple of new stills for you guys. The first is from Empire, and gives us another behind-the-scenes look at Katherine Waterston as Daniels. The other highlights a gory scene, which might well involve a bit of the ol' chest-busting action.
“Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, the crew of the colony ship Covenant discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world — whose sole inhabitant is the ‘synthetic’ David (Michael Fassbender), survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.”
Alien: Covenant stars Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Demien Bichir and Danny McBride, and is set to hit theaters on August 4, 2017.
