Check Out This Amazing New Batch Of Ultra Hi-Res Images From SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY
Disney and Lucasfilm have today released over 20 images from Solo: A Star Wars Story offering up a better look at stills previously covered in watermarks and key moments from the first teaser trailer...
Work on Solo: A Star Wars Story has reportedly been finished (which is something of a miracle after all those reshoots) and Ron Howard recently promised that the release of a second trailer is imminent. That will no doubt be with us any day now as Disney will want it to play in front of Avengers: Infinity War at the end of the month and a new batch of ultra hi-res stills have been released today.
As you can see, these offer up a look at some key moments from the first teaser (in much greater details) as well as shots released by Entertainment Weekly which were plastered in watermarks.

Here, we see Joonas Suotamo as Chewbacca, Woody Harrelson as Beckett, Emilia Clarke as Qi'ra, and Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo as they seemingly embark on the dangerous Kessel Run.
We don't know an awful lot about Harrelson's Beckett but it appears as if he's going to serve as a mentor to Han and could be the one who convinces him to take a more rebellious path in life.
We heard a while ago that Phoebe Waller-Bridge would be playing a motion-capture character and it's since been confirmed that she's taking on the role of L3-37, a droid that's part of this crew.
Qi'ra will seemingly serve as a love interest of sorts for Han in the movie but seeing as she was never referenced in the original trilogy, there's a very good chance she could meet her maker here.
It's thought that this massive train-like vehicle - known as the Conveyex - will serve as a key location for a major action sequence in the movie and looking at this thing, it promises to be great fun.
Thandie Newton's character is known only as Val but she'll be part of the group joining Han and company in the movie. Seeing as she's not in the Falcon, though, does that mean she dies early on?
The Millennium Falcon looks a lot cleaner than what we're used to seeing here but will its scruffy state be addressed in this movie or will be left to assume it just got dirtier and dirtier over the years?
This iconic looking shot shows Han squaring off with someone many fans believe is going to be the movie's big bad. Will he win the duel? Well, he certainly didn't have any problems with Greedo!
Han and Chewie are in snowy climes here as the seemingly look to pull off a daring mission of some sort. Many fans believe this could be Kashykk but we have no way of saying either way for now.
Could this be the moment Han wins the Millennium Falcon from Lando? It's probably just a shot from the first scene featuring the fan-favourite character as the tone is set for his arc in this movie.
This atmospheric scene from the trailer shows Han looking up at the cockpit he'll one day call his home...well, before he's murdered by his son in cold blood of course (what a way for him to go out).
While it's a little hard to make out what's going on here, this lot have now positively been ID'd as Mudtroopers on Mimban. They're a very different group of Stormtroopers based on these designs.
Lando's role in this movie promises to be every bit as interesting as Han's and fans of the character will be very glad to see him here considering the fact he's been absent from the new trilogy.
Another shot of Beckett, this is seemingly the moment he convinces Han to join him on the Kessel Run. It should be a good year for Harrelson as he'll also be making an appearance in Venom.
There may have been rumblings that Ehrenreich isn't up to scratch when it comes to playing a younger version of Han but he looks the part here and definitely deserves a fair shake from fans.
The trailer pointed to Qi'Ra possibly having joined the Empire and she definitely looks a lot wealthier than her old smuggler friend in this shot. Does that mean romance won't be on the cards?
We paid a visit to Kashykk in Revenge of the Sith and while it looked a lot different to this in that movie, it's a safe bet to assume that this could be another part of the planet which is Chewie's home.
This Millenium Falcon looks much different to the banged-up hunk of junk we're used to and the prevailing fan theory is that it could end up being destroyed here before ultimately being rebuilt.
Lucasfilm didn't cast lookalikes for Solo but Donald Glover look a heck of a lot like a young Billy Dee Williams in this shot so it's fair to say that the studio chose wisely when they cast him as the hero.
It wouldn't be remotely surprising if this is the one of the final shots in the movie as seeing these two blasting off together for adventures which will lead them to A New Hope would be awesome.
What a great shot! Seeing Han and Chewie's friendship blossom in this movie is one of the most exciting things about the spinoff as there must have been something which strengthened their bond.
