Director Rian Johnson Teases The STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI Opening Crawl With An Image From The Editing Bay
Though it doesn't actually give us an idea of what to expect from the film's opening crawl, Star Wars: The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson has kept the hype going with a new pic from the editing suite...
Yesterday, we finally found out that the next installment in the main Star Wars saga would be subtitled The Last Jedi, and director Rian Johnson has now teased the movie's opening crawl with a new behind-the-scenes Instagram post, which he captioned: "Felt so good to drop this into the cut this morning."
The pic doesn't actually provide us with any hints as to how the crawl will begin (aside from the main title, obvioulsy), but it's still a cool little tease, and might well be an indication that some more substantial reveals are on their way.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi will star Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie and Andy Serkis, as well as franchise newcomers Benicio Del Toro, Laura Dern and Kelly Marie Tran. The film is set to hit theaters Dec. 15, 2017.
