The clips have been released onto YouTube by Lucasfilm and Disney ahead of Star Wars: The Last Jedi's Blu-ray release on April 9th.

Without question one of the most popular scenes in Star Wars: The Last Jedi was the fight scene which took place in Supreme Leader Snoke's throne room between Rey, Kylo Ren and Snoke's Praetorian Guards. Taking place immediately after Snoke's unexpected demise, the scene for the first time in the franchise features both the dark and light side working in tandem to defeat a larger threat. Kylo, having had enough of being manipulated by Snoke, struck him down causing the guards to move in and attempt to apprehend or outright kill Rey and Kylo. A (one quarter) portion of the scene has been released online, as you can see below:

The next scene shows Luke teaching Rey to reach out with her feelings rather than physically. This scene features an editing practice we haven't seen before in the franchise whilst Rey describes the universe's balance, the force. Check out the clip below:

What do you think about this scene and the way it's edited? How does the throne room fight stack up against the others in your opinion? Will you be picking up a Blu-ray copy of Star Wars: The Last Jedi once it's released on April 9th?

@knocturnalzen10 - I love it. Kylo's the highlight of this scene for me (as well as the rest of the movie).

I’ve seen this movie in the theater 3 times, and the lightsaber going through that guard’s head got an applause from the crowd all 3 times.

The throne room fight could become TLJ's version of the Quicksilver scene from DoFP for me. I can watch it on YouTube whenever I feel like it, and leave the movie itself behind.

Love the fighting style used by Rey and Kylo in that Throne Room battle. One of the better lightsaber duels in the series.

@L0RDbuckethead - It reminds me a lot of the style that fan films go for, like this one

I'm finding this movie really boring to watch

@BlindWedjat - Me too. Especially when I first watched it, I felt nothing during this scene. I've kind of come to terms with how bad the movie is as a whole.

The fact that two lightsaberss never clash in this movie is a real testament to how much Rian Johnson butt [frick]ed this franchise. Also, the fights in this trilogy are pretty boring. These two do not fight as one should with a lightsaber. There's no flipping or jumping, they struggle against guards that aren't even force sensitive.

That throne room fight scene is one of the best Lightsaber battles i've seen IMO.

Still probably the third best Star Wars for me.

Yes we utterly wasted Snoke, but at least you got a cool action scene out of it!
