The first official still from Jurassic World: Dominion gave us a look at Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard) in a precarious position, and we now have a new promo image featuring her partner in crime Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) rounding up a parasaur.
We'll catch up with Grady in the Sierra Nevadas, as he works to protect and preserve the world's new dino population. "He's not too far from where the dinosaurs got out in the last film," says director Colin Trevorrow. "The parasaurs are in danger of being poached. There's a lot of shady types out there who want to get their hands on dinosaurs, so he's working to protect them."
We also have some new plot details courtesy of EW, and it turns out Dominion will take place four years after the events of Fallen Kingdom, with the dinosaurs multiplying and spreading around the globe in that time.
"They have been multiplying and living amongst us and clashing with us," says Trevorrow. "Dominion is set all over the world, through many different environments: wilderness, urban, desert, snow. It's exciting to see these creatures navigate environments that they weren't built to survive in. They grew up in a theme park and now they're here!"
For many, the big draw of Dominion will be the involvement of original Jurassic Park stars Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum, and they are all expected to have more than just brief cameo appearances.
Dominion will also see the return of Jake Johnson (Lowery Cruthers), Omar Sy (Barry Sembane), Justice Smith (Franklin Webb), Daniella Pineda (Zia Rodriguez), Isabella Sermon (Maisie Lockwood), and BD Wong (Dr. Henry Wu). Franchise newcomers include Mamoudou Athie (Sorry for Your Loss), DeWanda Wise (She's Gotta Have It), Dichen Lachman (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) and Scott Haze (Venom).
Jurassic World: Dominion will roar into cinemas on June 10, 2022.
