Possible Concept Art for ROBOCOP Revealed?

Could this be our first look at what Robocop is going to look like in the 2013 release? Some intriguing concept art surfaced online which depicts a very futuristic cyborg Murphy.

UPDATE: An MGM rep has contacted CBM to clarify...
"MGM has no knowledge of Mike Jensen & he has never been hired by the studio or the production team to create any designs for the upcoming film, RoboCop. We would like to request that you correct the post."

Mike Jensen is a great concept artist who has recently done some designs for the upcoming Robocop flim. These pictures were posted on his official homepage but were removed very quickly for some reason. Thanks to www.robocoparchive.com, we might have our first look at our new Robocop. Check out the pictures below and sound off what you think!!

CBM Insert: We were previously told that the rebooted Robocop would differ from the original by showing his eye and the art below would contradict that assertion but this is only a single depiction of what is probably a vast array of concept art. The final version we see on film will likely be very different.

I actually kinda like it, it has some good things about it at least. It would look better on film, still hope they tweak it a bit more.

Yep, this is official but a guy on the design crew told me on Facebook that the final design is "VERY different".

@M3T4LL0- I think this was a very early concept. The final product will probably have a more armored look. I just hope it's not too Iron Man-ish. Seems it'd be hard to steer clear of the IM look while updating RoboCop. They start filming in Toronto pretty soon so I'm sure we'll have some leaked set pics here at CBM pretty soon.

It just looks like a mixture of Iron Man, Judge Dredd and Halo Armour. I think they should be more creative than plastering it with plain old sheet metal scraps. Have the robo cop look like a cop- kinda like an inspector-gadget but has only what cops have on them. Guns, Batone, hand-cuffs, capsicum spray, note-pad/tickets, badge etc...

OH WAIT mayby have Robo-cop suit resemble the concept behind Captain America's. His suit is pretty much the flag. So have Robo-cop's armour resemble a Polieman's badge- like gold, dark blue/silver- with an engraving of the Miranda Rights on the palm of his hand so he can than say to the criminals "Talk to the hand." LOL... I'm getting a lil carried away but you get the idea; the engraving and the rest are interesting ideas I think.

It has no character that the original suit oozes! This is very generic.
It's more like the ultimate biker boy wearing a metal thong!

I don't get how everyone goes nuts over the lack of Superman's underpants, but they discuss this design like it's to be expected and is perfectly fine. Everyone's all "hmmm, what Should RoboCop look like?"
He should look like friggin' RoboCop! This looks nothing like him!
Glad to hear it's not the final design. At least ED209 is recognisable, despite the updates.

Just...the visor. Give it a thin red line in the middle of it, and it will be fine, at the very least. Still not that good, but it won't be THAT bad, either.

Then again, seeing how The Amazing Spider-Man's concept art differ SO much with the actual thing, I'll reserve my judgment.

Yes. Please don't try to be like the original. It worked back then. Personally, I approve of this concept. Totally up for something different, something that makes use of current filmmaking technology.
