The new Star Trek movie is the best yet! I was absolutely glued to the screen. The young crew makes it possible to spin off a long running string for a new series. I'll bet it is already in the making. The movie did get a little bogged down in the details of the plot, but this was necessary to bring in all the members of the crew. I give the movice a thumbs up for staying true to the original story line. Also, it will defintely appeal to the young generation of trek fans. J.J. Abrams, this is one that would make Gene Roddenberry proud! submitted by BL

It was great-saw it Thursday night and took two friends out again to see it IMAX Friday. SO very well acted and filmed. The timeline paradox works perfectly well too as it fits squarely in with current multiverse cosmology so lets run with it-the producers & actors spent 150 million, risked their professional reputations, and WON;reinvigorating the franchise at a time when both Science Fiction, and the world in general, needs some serious "can-do" optimism and heroes in its mental hardware about the future. Bravo!!
