DARTH VADER #7 Brings Back A Character Cut From STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER - SPOILERS

Marvel's Darth Vader series is already making use of Ochi of Bestoon, but another cut character from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker made a shock, last page return in today's issue #7. Check it out...

The Eye of Webbish Bog was supposed to appear at the start of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker to point Kylo Ren in the direction of Darth Vader's Sith wayfinder. While the Sith Lord tasked a group of cultists with protecting that artifact, the Supreme Leader striking them down left this peculiar creature - a spider-like being that is locked in symbiosis with a blind giant - to give him the information he desired.

While their exchange was shot, it's never been shared with fans, but The Eye of Webbish Bog made an unexpected appearance in today's issue of Star Wars: Darth Vader #7

On the run from the Sith assassin Ochi of Bestoon (whose body and dagger were discovered by Rey in The Rise of Skywalker), Darth Vader meets the future guardian of his Sith wayfinder on Mustafar, and it looks like the plan is to now better explain what we ended up seeing in J.J. Abrams' movie.

That's not a bad thing, of course, as his Episode IX was full of plot holes, unanswered questions, and nonsensical moments. If this comic book series can clear things up, then that's great news for fans! It also happens to be a great read, and is written by Greg Pak with art by Raffaele Ienco.

Make sure to pick it up from your local comic book store today!

@OptimusPrime114 - Well this is pretty atypical Star Wars. You want nonsense? How about Han crashing in a forest where he dies, Chewbacca being stuck on the planet now being known as a mythical creature for decades, then later both the ship and the now skeletal remains of Han being discovered by Indiana Jones?

It's a hammerhead-spider attached to a blind pig-giant. Doesn't seem more out there to me than most of the sequel trilogy.

Ah, the ever popular Star Wars theme where they explain plot holes in material that only a fraction of fans will ever see and the masses are left in the dark. This little trick may have worked pre internet to try to boost sales but a simple search can satisfy curiosity now.

And that's assuming the plot hole is interesting enough for more than a handful of curious people to begin with.

I'm not a big fan of it, but the Darth Vader series has had some great moments in the past so I don't really mind

This being the first full appearance of The Sith Assassin is why this book is hot.
