SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY Character Posters Spotlight Han, Chewbacca, Lando And Qi-Ra

On the heels of the full trailer, Regal Cinemas has debuted four Solo: A Star Wars Story character banners which feature Lando, Chewbacca, Qui-Ra and, of course, the scruffy-lookin' Nerf-herder himself...

We just got our first look at the full trailer for Ron Howard's Solo: A Star Wars Story, and now we have a batch of colorful character posters to go with it.

The trailer made it very clear that Woody Harrelson's character (who doesn't get a poster, unfortunately) would be teaming young Han (Alden Ehrenreich) up with a motley bunch of fellow space-scoundrels and misfits, and the most recognizable of the crew share the spotlight here. Lando Calrissian (Donald Glover), Qi'Ra (Emilia Clarke), and the best co-pilot in the galaxy, Chewie.

Check out the banners below, and let us know what you think of them and the trailer in the comments.

Cool posters.

Visuals definitely isn't the problem with these new SW films.

Alden Ehrenreich looks more like Malcom Reynolds than Han Solo.

I'm sorry, lol. I just can't take Glover seriously in this. As a huge Community fan, all I could see is Troy dressing up as Lando for Halloween.

@KWilly - Watch some of his other work. Atlanta in particular! And some of his Gambino stuff. Get an idea of what he's like outside of Community :)

Cool... but there is another SW movie that better be made soon.

@Trumpool - while I desperately want a Kenobi film. I honestly can't see what they can do with his film when it comes to canon.

It's pretty clear (though only suggested) that he never left Tatooine between RoTS and ANH.
We have already had thre Maul v Kenobi confrontation in Rebels.

And via the main SW comic, we've basically seen him learn all his major lessons on tattooine (eg he has to learn to let bad things happen so he does t expose himself as a Jedi).

I think the only way they can go is to somehow get him off the planet. But I think they really need a very compelling reason as to why he would risk leaving.

I'm sure Donald can pull off a cool Lando but Alden as Han I'm not really feeling it. He lacks the style and charm of Harrison Ford's Solo. I could be wrong he might be good being that he suppose to be a younger Han. I just hope its entertaining and does well. Unlike the Last Jedi that did well as crap.

I'm glad Ehrenreich isn't trying to emulate Ford's Solo, but I'll still need to see more to be convinced that he's a good fit for the role.

@RorMachine - It will be a shame if he doesn't deliver. He gave by far the best performance in "Hail, Caesar", outshining even his A-list co-stars. Although, rumors have it that he was very confused by the direction he was given from Lord and Miller on the set of Solo... I don't know what effect that might had during the reshoots.

@Trumpool - Well they were big on improvisation on set and apparently he isn't very good at improv. It's why he was the one who went to lucasfilm to tell them what was going on as he was uncomfortable with this kind of film making.

Anyone else think that one lady shown in Woody's crew for a flash second looked like Thandie Newton? Is she in this, I never heard anything about her being in this?

@SpideyPuffsMJ - Just checked on IMDb. She's in the movie. It's going to be a big year for her.
