In just a few weeks, Disney guests will blast off into a galaxy far, far away When Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge opens at Disneyland Resort in California later this month (August for Disney World in Florida). Disney has put a tremendous amount of work into creating an immersive new land inspired by the Star Wars franchise. But beyond the details of the buildings and attractions, another key element to Star Wars is, of course, it's music.

As we previously learned, John Williams, who has scored every film in the core Star Wars Skywalker saga, returned to compose the music that will play in the background of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. Ahead of the land's opening, Disney Music Vevo has released the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Symphonic Suite, which you can now listen to online.

The track seems to perfectly capture the struggle of balance between good and evil that guests will encounter when they journey to the planet of Batuu and step explore the Black Spire Outpost. A thriving port for smugglers, rogue traders, and adventurers, Black Spire Outpost is a safe haven for those looking to avoid the First Order. But their reach is expanding, and Williams' track certainly teases some exciting moments guests will experience.

You can download the new track from iTurnes, Amazon Music, and Google Play, or stream from Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Google Play, Pandora, and more.

Beyond Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, fans will be able to hear the brilliant music of John Williams one last time in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. The composer confirmed he will be retiring from the Star Wars saga following the final installment in the core saga.

What do you think of the Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge soundtrack?

A legend of film scores for sure. I hope his retirement is just for Star Wars and not films altogether. I still want to hear what he could do with one last Indiana Jones film

@TheUnworthyThor - Sorry to hear that (even without knowing the context). No hug gifs seem appropriate, but imagine I'm gif-hugging you anyway.

@Lanza10 @TyrantBossMedia - The video pop-ups are annoying on mobile because I have a data limit on my phone.

On desktop, I don't really mind them. Something has to pay the bills and the lights on. If an autoplay, auto-mute video is all it takes, I'm okay with that. (Better than selling our data or charging a monthly subscription, imo).

I finally saw Solo. Pretty weak tea overall, and I don't like Ehrenreich in the slightest. I'm surprised at how little Glover was in it. L3 and Harrelson were the only interesting bits, and they were ultimately shallow.

I guess with its production history it's amazing that it holds up at all, but there just wasn't much to it and I still think they've made a mistake in how they construct Star Wars.

Star Wars isn't really sci-fi, where plots revolve around logistics of fuel and robot brains. That's Battlestar Galacta stuff, not Star Wars. Star Wars is much more geared toward the logic of adventurism and high fantasy (frequently subverting it). There were shades of them "getting it right" in Solo (in my opinion), maybe moreso than Last Jedi's fleet nonsense, but it's still too much techy-whoozits.

Ships go because they go. They stop because they're busted and need to be fixed. Anything more complex than that feels... un-Star-Wars.
