A Force Friday announcement for Star Wars: The Last Jedi is surely incoming and LEGO has today revealed a series of character posters featuring the Minifigure versions of Luke Skywalker, General Leia Skywalker, Kylo Ren, Poe Dameron, Rey, and Finn. This gives us an idea of how they'll look in the LEGO sets which are due to be released and those will hopefully reveal some long overdue story details.

After all, we know next to nothing about Star Wars: The Last Jedi right now and while another trailer being released seems likely, who knows if that will deliver more than just snippets of extra footage.

We'll have to wait and see but this movie hasn't suffered anywhere near as many leaks as The Force Awakens so we don't even have those to go on. That's not a bad thing, of course, but
those upcoming toy reveals will be something! What do you guys think? Share your thoughts in the comments section.

Nice. I love those LEGO games BTW. But I liked more when the characters didn't speak.

They should start making more shows and comics set in this new era. A whole Clone Wars era was set up around the prequels with great stories. So far this era is just yet another galactic civil war between the same sides.

@Nightwing1015 - They dont have enough info given by the shows. One wrong move and it gets complicated.

@Nightwing1015 - once this triology is finished we will get more stories(comics, shows etc ) leading up to this era + with in it.
When it comes to Canon, the films take priority. They don't want to put restrictions on the story of the films. Hence, events are kept ambiguous. We know Kylo betrayed Luke's Jedi order and killed them but we don't know the details. If they set a canon comic showing the details of that betrayal story, that would hinder future stories of the films as they would beholden to those events which may not be the writers/directors vision.

Clone Wars and Rebels work as the era they are set in the main stories of the films have been done, hence they can weave in the stories of the clone wars and rebellion around them.

I feel the next animated series after Rebels will definitely be in the Sequel Era or related to it.
Following Luke and Lor Tekka finding force sensitive children for the new order would be a great story for the a show, allowing for planet hopping and exploration of the Galaxy. And a great finale to the show will be seeing Kylos betrayal.

@Trumpool - I fear it's gonna be a while still. The full trailer for TFA was released in october, the day they opened ticket sales. It was sooner for Rogue One but that was a bit special. So I'd say a couple months still.
