After creative differences with Ryan Reynolds led to Tim Miller departing
Deadpool 2, he decided to instead take the helm of a sixth
Terminator movie.
Now, it's been confirmed that that will indeed be titled
Terminator: Dark Fate, a cheesy sounding title which unfortunately brings back memories of
Salvation and
Genisys (both of which were box office flops).
Regardless, it's clear that Paramount Pictures is confident in the movie because they're leaving it with that November 1st release date. In fact, it will go head to head with the
Charlie's Angels reboot.
Produced by James Cameron,
Terminator: Dark Fate brings back Linda Hamilton and Arnold Schwarzenegger and will serve as a direct sequel to the first two instalments. There's a lot of intrigue surrounding the movie and the nostalgia factor could definitely end up going in its favour this winter.
