The series is about 24 year-old Canadian Scott Pilgrim, a slacker, hero, and part-time bassist who is living in Toronto and is in the band Sex Bob-Omb. He falls in love with American delivery girl Ramona V. Flowers, but must defeat her seven "evil ex-boyfriends[1] " in order to date her.
A film adaptation of the series entitled "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" starring actor Michael Cera is underway and currently in post production, is set for release in June/July 2010.
