While the first
Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer essentially confirmed that the wall-crawler survived the events of
Avengers: Endgame before that movie hit theaters, it wasn't until earlier today that we got official confirmation that the sequel is set after the events of the massive superhero ensemble.
Now that's been released, though, Sony Pictures is starting to ramp up the marketing campaign for
Spider-Man: Far From Home and the UK's BBFC has today classified a new trailer which will run for 2:38.
We don't have an official release date, but reliable sources are reporting that it will swing online as soon as next week, and that makes perfect sense because it could then play in front of
Detective Pikachu.
A shorter version has also been classified so chances are we'll be getting an international version with additional footage similar to what happened with the teaser that debuted back in January. Whether this sneak peek will shed any light on what comes next after
Avengers: Endgame is hard to say, but, at the very least, we'll hopefully learn more about Marvel's very different take on Mysterio.
What do you hope to see in the trailer? Let us know your thoughts on that in the usual place.
