Peter Parker Will Be Getting Some New High School Pals In The SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING Sequel

Cameras will be rolling on the Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel very soon, and we have some details on a few of the new supporting characters that'll be joining Tom Holland's Peter Parker in high school...

Peter Parker boasted quite a few high school friends in Spider-Man: Homecoming as it was, but it looks like that circle is going to get even bigger for the upcoming sequel.

Following on from their previous report that the production was looking to add a new male lead (rumored to be Alistair Smythe), That Hashtag Show reckons we'll also see 3 additional high school students join Peter, Ned and MJ as they head to Europe.

Here are the breakdowns:

An 18-22 year old ethnicity to play a gender non-conforming student.

An 18-26 year old actress of any ethnicity, preferably a character actor or comedienne.

An 18-25 year old male, to play a high school senior named “JASON” who is described as “charming and insanely likable.”

Whether these guys will be based on established Marvel Comics characters or not remains to be seen, but either way, the fact that we're getting at least 4 noteworthy additions to Parker's gang definitely suggests that we'll be spending a significant amount of time with the students of Midtown School of Science and Technology.

Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 swings into theaters on July 5, 2019.

Am I the only one thinking JASON will probably be Harry?

@Mattygrand - Harry is not that likeable. It's probably Chameleon.

@ScionStorm - Chameleon is unlikely, Harry is definitely more probable. Plus he’s supposed to be super popular, so bing likeable isn’t a stretch
