@Kr08 - Yeah. And a computer too. Did you see his set up in Civil War? Even from something he got from dumpster diving, I think he could do better.

Those eyes are fantastic. Actually, all of the movie costumes have captured a different era and have been great. Truly a testament to awesome costume design.

You can really see how much they altered the mask in post. It's pretty impressive.

@Kr08 - Lol the contrast is so derpy

@Kr08 - Actually that's not true. For 99% of shots where the mask is on, he has a plastic shell underneath so that the mask can look tight and smooth without being uncomfortable and lumpy looking on his face. Any shots where he needs to pull the mask off, he doesn't wear the shell. So obviously in that set photo they were about to do a shot where he takes the mask off.

@Boyle360 - so you're saying they changed the shape of his head?! It's the Cara Delevingne controversy all over again! Damn Hollywood's impossible beauty standards!

Seriously though, that's pretty cool. That's how they avoid the dumpy Halloween mask look.

@DAGuess - Done for all the Spider-man movies. Though with this film more CGI is being done for the eyes.

@storyteller - It's little details like that that you don't really think about, but make a world of difference on screen.

I really love how they are mixing the 60s spider-man with the new age ultimate incarnation. Very cool!
