Spider-Man is set to be released next week and while the wait for the game has been agonising, it sounds like it will keep us all busy for a very long time to come. As you can see below, Insomniac Games Community Director James Stevenson has revealed that the average test gamer took around 20+ hours to finish the main storyline without including the vast majority of side quests and activities (and DLC).
That's incredible and much longer than the Arkham trilogy and given the open world nature of the game and the fact Insomniac is planning to release plenty of DLC, we can probably expect to be swinging through this one for a good 50 hours or more (possibly longer if you're a completist and want to find every single collectible and reach the highest level for the wall-crawler's fighting abilities, etc.).
So far, the only confirmed DLC we know of will revolve around Black Cat but common sense there will be a lot more as Insomniac looks to keep gamers hooked for as long as possible over the coming years.
