Spider-Man: Homecoming hits digital On Demand video on September 26 and blu-ray/DVD on October 17. One of the many extras included will be a behind-the-scenes look at Tom Holland's wall-crawler scaling the Washington Monument. MTV News has an early sneak peek at the featurette which you can see below (if you live in the U.S.).

A scaled replica was built on a sound stage and it was Holland (yes, he didn't use his stunt double) in the costume and on wires, ascending up the side of the wall and jumping off the top.

The blu-ray, DVD will also include several more featurettes, an option for pop-up facts during playback, deleted scenes, and a gag reel.

Homecoming was fine, but i'm disappointed that the same writers will be back for the sequel. I know that Spider-Man has been around for so long that he's a different character to different people, but Homecoming lacked the tragedy of the Spider-Man i know. There was no sadness or isolation that i associate with spidey's early days. I know Feige said we might see these films get more mature as we progress, and i hope that's true.
