So far, no Marvel Studios movie has had the dishonour of dropping below 60% on Rotten Tomatoes, but the same can't be said for every Spider-Man movie! Fortunately for Marvel and Sony Pictures, the Webhead's latest adventure has received widespread acclaim from the majority of critics.

The popular review aggregator has officially announced that Jon Watts' Spider-Man: Homecoming currently sits at 93%, which comes in just short of equalling Sam Raimi's mighty Spider-Man 2 (94%) and makes it the second most positively reviewed Spider-Man film. You'd be forgiven for assuming that the worst was Spider-Man 3 (63%), but it's actually The Amazing Spider-Man 2 which is rotten at 52%.

Is Spider-Man: Homecoming deserving of such a postive critical reaction? You'll find out on July 7.

@BlackIceJoe - Please please please Sony reconsider your stand alone Venom film and work with Marvel Studios to build a connected MCU-Sony franchise.

Trust me Spiderman is safer as an investment with Marvel Studios as a partner. They know the character and source material and have mastered what you could never dream to do.
