Spider-Man: No Way Home has been plagued by leaks, and it's beginning to feel a lot like some of them have deliberately been dropped online by Sony Pictures as a way of stealthily marketing the movie. After all, we still don't know if they're real or not, but the apparent confirmation that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield are in the movie is half the reason fans are so excited about it!
There was even a video of Garfield seemingly in costume and on set, and while one fan later claimed to be responsible for making it, we've lost track of what's really going on.
In the video below, the actor addresses various online posts from fans, including one on YouTube. Garfield recently appeared on The Tonight Show, and the commenter pointed out that Jimmy Fallon should have asked Garfield about the leaked video doing the rounds. Why? Well, he'd have found it harder to explain that than dismissing the leaked image as being Photoshopped.
"This is about this Spider-Man Photoshop thing that we talked about at Jimmy Fallon," the actor said. "Listen, at this point...I'm done. We'll all out find out when the movie comes out and we'll either be very disappointed, or we'll be very happy, or like, someone will say, 'I told you so.' And the other person was a bit, 'I told you so.' We'll all find out. I'm sorry in advance."
Yeah, he's totally in Spider-Man: No Way Home. At this point, it needs to just be confirmed already, though we're guessing it will all come to light in one final trailer released when tickets go on sale.
There are some great moments with Garfield in this video, so be sure to check it out!
