Spider-Man: No Way Home is now available on Digital platforms, and that's given fans the chance to take a deep dive into the movie on the hunt for Easter Eggs. One Redditor has actually discovered a cameo in the movie that definitely passed us by, and it's a throwback in Spider-Man: Homecoming.
In the scene with Arian Moayed's Agent Cleary arresting Peter Parker for the attack on London and Mysterio's apparent murder, Gary Weeks reprises his role as Agent Foster.
If you need a reminder, he first showed up in Spider-Man: Homecoming's opening scene when the pre-Vulture Adrian Toomes was told by Damage Control that they would be taking over the cleanup operation following the Battle of New York. That set Toomes on the path to becoming a supervillain, and the organisation has since had a minor presence in the wall-crawler's franchise.
This is a cool nod to the past and a reminder that Marvel Studios never misses a chance to flesh out the MCU and build a shared history with the characters we see. While Agent Foster didn't have much more than this to do in Spider-Man: No Way Home, it's still an amazing hidden Easter Egg and we're sure there are still more to be found over the coming weeks.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is available on Digital now and hits physical platforms on April 12.
