SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME Possible Plot Details Reveal Origin Of Peter Parker's New Black & Gold Suit

Spider-Man: No Way Home will see Tom Holland's Peter Parker debut more new costumes, and a new report claims to shed some light on why the wall-crawler dons a black & gold suit at a key point in the film!

Spider-Man: No Way Home has to be one of the most highly anticipated Marvel movies to head our way in quite some time. Rumours continue to persist about what fans can expect from the threequel, and until that second trailer is released, we're left to speculate.

Now, The Cosmic Wonder has shared an interesting rumour about the introduction of that much talked about Black & Gold suit. As you'll likely recall from set photos, Tom Holland's brother, Harry, has a cameo role as a robber. Spidey webs him up, but as this takes place after the wall-crawler's secret identity has been revealed to the world, there's still a lot of people who believe he murdered Mysterio.

It's at this point in Spider-Man: No Way Home that one of Mysterio's supporters runs up to the hero and throws a bucket of green paint over him. That permanently stains the costume, leaving Peter with no other option than to turn it inside out (something fans have speculated about from the start).

This is certainly an interesting way to sell more toys, though we're not sure what the point is beyond that. Chances are it won't have the biggest role in the movie, though it did find its way into a few scenes in that first trailer. Ultimately, we know that Peter winds up in an "integrated" suit that's a combination of his Upgraded suit from Spider-Man: Far From Home and the Iron Spider armour.

As for this black costume, it's definitely not the one most fans want to see Spidey don. However, when the wall-crawler inevitably crosses paths with Venom, something tells us that will change.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is set to be released in theaters on December 17.

I somewhat hate how this Peter has had 2 different black suits before the symbiote. I fear that if he ever got to put it on, it would be really cool, but a bit less special.

This sounds really dumb, but just to go with it: it would have to be the classic suit he wears right? Otherwise he can't use the upgraded suit to make the integrated suit

@Doomsday8888 -
I thought the same thing too. But the whole “turning his suit inside out” theory would explain those out of place red gloves. And the gold kind of looks like circuit boards.

New superhero trend - putting on their suits inside out.

Can't wait to see Thor or Black Falcon.

…….he turns it…..inside out??

I am probably in the minority here but I hate what they are doing with this adaption of Spidey since Homecoming.

@SatsuiNoJXA - I agree and have been saying for awhile now that Peter Parker is supposed to be a genius himself but he can only build an actual spiderman outfit with a machine provided by tony syark which happy hogan could have used. A machine mind you which already had blueprints for suits obviously designed by iron man. I mean Peter had to get his mate in the first movie to break into the suits tech so he could change the settings. Some genius that couldn’t even use a computer. The only suit he made himself was blue jeans and a red jumper. But you know this site all hail marvel and trash everything else.

I'm guessing we're at the point of a toy mandate. "We got these toys to sell, so find some way to get these suits in. I DONT CARE HOW!"

An old leak of the story. Very few details (but important ones) but several of them have been confirmed by the trailer.

You know, that's kinda a classic Spider-Man situation. The only difference is that in the comics the outcome would look less toyetic.
