Andrew Garfield's return as the Amazing Spider-Man in Spider-Man: No Way Home has received widespread critical acclaim, even leading to fans on social media pleading with Sony Pictures to #MakeTASM3. The actor has spoken positively about the possibility of reprising the role of Peter Parker, and we now have a closer look at the suit donned by the wall-crawler in the MCU.
The image comes our way via an actor who was used as a stand-in for Garfield on the movie's set.
Calling it "one of the greatest moments of my life," Omar Zaki explains that none of his scenes were used in the movie, but notes that Garfield being unavailable meant he got to fill in for the actor during that exchange between the three Spider-Men and Doctor Strange.
"I mainly acted in a Dialogue scene but was not shown on camera because they were mainly getting shots of Benedict and Tom," he explains, "and the other small physical performing scene I did was cut. The small/short physical scene I filmed did not make the final edit and I was framed out during the pickup shots to focus on Benedict and Tom talking."
We can only imagine what that must have been like for Zaki, and we're definitely appreciative of this closer look at the hero's suit. It doesn't appear to have changed much since 2014's The Amazing Spider-Man 2, though that was to be expected (for many fans, this remains the character's best big screen costume).
