Okay that was your last chance, now let the spoilers begin...

Well for a long time we all have been speculating that Emma Stone's character Gwen Stacy will die in the Amazing Spiderman 2. And now its seems to be completely true but the big plot twist is how she dies!

We all thought that the web she is hanging in the picture is cutted and she falls, later Spidey would "save" her to realize her neck snapped when he stopped her fall. But we are all wrong...

I recently talked to someone who saw the movie and told me that when the Goblin cuts the web, but Spidey actually saves her and she survives. So this time he leaves Gwen on a gear of the clock tower.

While Spidey fights Goblin, Gwen stays on the gear seeing her boyfriend fight for his life and sometihng happens to Spidey (sorry he didn't pay a lot of attention to that part). The case is that the Goblin goes to the gear and takes Gwen again. When spidey is watching, Harry snaps Gwen's neck as Superman did with Zod and throws her. So when Spidey goes down to catch her, he leaves her body (after crying over the body like shown in the trailers) and goes to fight The Goblin.

Do you think that Gwen deserved that death? Did you like it?

Please if I have any writing error notify me and I will change it, consider that English is not my primary language.

Something happens to Spidey, but your friend didn't pay much attention to that part? Really? If so, someone needs to teach him how to watch movies. Lol

Wow talk about shock value. This will be great for Spidey viewers. Could never ever get into SM, so I'm not seeing it. But this will make for great reaction from the audience.

@ALmight
It's still Spider-Man's fault for bringing Gwen into this whole "adventure". I am also a little bit worried about people saying it's like MoS.

Holy shit. I wasn't interested in seeing TASM 2 in cinemas until I read how Gwen dies.

So basically they've ruined Gwen's death one of the most iconic moment in comics that helped marked the transition from the Silver Age into the Bronze Age?

Honestly, what sounds more haunting to you, the big bad villain simply twisting the neck and throwing her away to prove how evil he is or her being dropped, Spider Man catching her in a web and the audience thinking "oh he's saved her" then he brings her up into her arms, she's limb and lifeless and then it dawns on the audience that she's dead and that web catch was the thing that actually killed her, not the villain.

@BatManiac

The meaning behind it remains intact though the version where he thinks he saved her is much superior and a better way of executing her death then the big bad villain snapping her shit up to prove how much of a big bad villain he is.

@MAK

BatManiac is correct. Peter puts Gwen in the line of fire despite her father warning him to stay away. His guilt haunting him for the rest of his life is the message being sent.

@Soto, thank you.

Very curious about Harry's fate, I understand the suit is a life support, he takes a beating and survives, but I doubt Peter would be feeling kind enough to spare him a drop of blood or two for the cure. Do you know what happens to Harry?

@Soto, thanks again, looking forward to your review also.

One more thing I'd like to ask, a while ago there was a rumour that a completed and slightly more familiar Goblin armour will be seen in one of the S6 chambers... Does that mean Norman will be suited up or is he out of the picture?

Im gonna have to agree with MAK. The story is better if Spider-Man accidentally snaps her neck. He would feel more guilty and constantly be thinking that he could have saved her if he had only done something different. And he would have to keep that in the back of his mind everytime he saves anyone else. This is a bad decision.

Anyway, I hope they don't introduce Mary Jane immediately. It would be nice to see a Spider-Man movie where he doesn't always have to worry about his girlfriend.
