This manipulation was done within the last couple of days and features the opening cover of EW shot of Cavill.



The Untitled Superman Movie is Directed by Zack Snyder from a story by David Goyer & Christopher Nolan with screenplay from David Goyer. It stars Henry Cavill as Clark Kent / Superman and is due for release December 2012.

Nice... I think we should forget completely about the "Christopher Reeve" look and pull a "Webb's Amazing Spiderman" on his costume.

I don't know but I want this superman to have longer hair like the comics in the 90s!! I know it won't happen though

Hm...doesn't look a thing like Routh! Thank god.

As WB put it- they chose Cavill because he doesn't look like Reeve or Routh ;)

It's also great that Snyder will be giving Cavill a COMPLETELY new suit. Not the Reeve-one. I read the EW magazine :)

@Knightstalker- So what you think...maybe a shade darker than the Reeve-suit, but a shade lighter than the Routh-suit?

Something in-between those two could work well for the new film...what're your thoughts?

@Lp4- when you say completely new suit what does that mean? are they planning on butchering the costume like hawkeye in the avengers or use the same classic design just using newer fabric?
