McG to WB: Make or Break Superman

Charlie's Angels helmer McG reportedly made a big pitch to Warner Bros. execs last week for the Superman movie project.

Director McG hopes to revive the troubled Superman movie project and made a "make or break" pitch to Warner Bros. execs last week, according to Internet talk. The suits were impressed with his the presentation: conceptual art, storyboards and set designs, according to reports.

McG is rumored to favor Henry Cavill in the lead role. Meanwhile, although the agent for Smallville's Tom Welling reportedly was asking after the role, the young star has no interest in the part.
