When "The Incredible Hulk" was premiering, MTV had a short interview with Louis Leterrier regarding Superman's possible return to the big screen.

"After Hulk, I was meeting different people and they said they were thinking of doing Superman," said Leterrier.

"I was never asked to do it," he clarified. "I just love those universes and grew up reading Superman."

It seems as if he is devoted to Superman's character. His devotion may be so grand that he stated interest in directing the next Superman film.

"One of the guys from Legendary [Pictures] has a big Superman in his office, and I asked what they were doing with it," he recalled. "They said they didn't know, and I told them, "If you figure it out and want to do something, I'd love to pitch something."

Since news broke recently on Superman's official development with Christopher Nolan, would Louis have the knowledge in reviving one of the most, if not the pinnacle of superhero beings along side Batman's master?

Gr8Valkyrie: "Clash of the Titans" looks great. Now just imagine the Batman and Perseus elements intertwined in a Superman film.
