Ok so he erased her mind with a kiss, right? Then the whole encounter was forgotten. So why doesn't Lois think twice about what happened?? "Did Superman Rape Me? Why do I have no recollection of having sex with him?"

What do you guys think? Just another flaw in "Returns" or was it the nail on the coffin for the movie? (you know the mysterious super illegitimate child)

i thought superman as clark kent was married to or at least engaged to lois in the original movies? part two i think. what was that visit to niagra falls all about? you know they got it on at some point. so if superman erased any memory of himself as superman in lois head, then whos to say if she still has memories of bangin clark or not.the kids powers only help her to re-realize that clark is superman and superman is clark all over again. so rape? i think not.its just clarks a deadbeat dad lololol.

The trip to Niagara Falls was an investigative report where they posed as a couple. She discovered he was Superman when he didn't get burned by the fireplace when she bumped him into it.

Singer said in an interview at the time of the movie's release that the kiss erased Lois' memory of Clark Kent being Superman, but it didn't erase her memories of sleeping with Superman. She just doesn't make the connection. Of course, this isn't explained in the movie.

The movie was just so bad, bad beyond words. Horrific really. I got the idea that Lois and Jason had been together since before the Super Bastard was born anyway so if Lois nails Supes, then the boss's kid within weeks of eachother she's the SUPER one then...SUPER SLUT!!

Maybe that's why Lois was so bitter at Supes and wrote the whole "why the world doesn't need a superman" article. It wasn't because she was bitter that he left her. It was because she's pissed cause she got super-knocked-up and is getting no child-support.
