Anyone ever think that the Reverse Flash is going back in time to make sure that Barry's mom doesn't die and the red flash is there to make sure that he doesn't interfere with the past. If Barry's mom doesn't die, he would never become the Flash.

@TeddyDuchamp

That's an interesting theory. But why would Wells want to save her?

I know it might sound kind of ridiculous,but all I want to see before The Flash goes on hiatus is Firestorm wearing the splicer with his head and hands on fire.

Also, does anyone else realize the show has two Flash's, season 1 episode 23 is the finale and the "Flash of Two Worlds" story is Flash #123. It would really surprise me if John Wesley Shipp isn't wearing a slightly modified version of his old costume in the finale.

@FirstAvenger

I don't know. It just seems to obvious that Reverse Flash is going to kill Barry's mom and he needs to time travel to stop it. It got me thinking that if he stops his mom from dying, he would never become the Flash. Therefore, both Flash's roles might actually be reversed for some reason where the Flash is trying to prevent Reverse Flash from interfering with the past.

@TheRevenge - Loved MadTV too. But you have to admit Michael McDonald was also funny as all hell!

reverse flash will HAVE to kill Barrys mom to stop a timeline paradox which destroys the future.

@yingyangpalms yeah well you know it is a comic book show so anything is possible. A guy that can run faster than a speeding bullet is no more believable than a guy falling 60 stories/600 feet down to solid rock and surviving. Idk why people even complain about that.

I didn't see any fall? Now who's to say that when they split part of that process is an instinct / reflex to shield them from immediate harm. Kind of like when you dream your nervous system disconnects your ability to make certain movements.
