After another release date delay, The Flash is now more than a year away from arriving in theaters. Whether the movie will be worth the wait remains to be seen, but with all signs pointing to the blockbuster creating a new DC Extended Universe, it's certainly an intriguing project.
The Fastest Man Alive will be getting a new costume courtesy of Ben Affleck's Batman, while the Kryptonian hero of the world Michael Keaton's Dark Knight calls home is going to be Supergirl.
Both Ezra Miller and Sasha Calle's costumes were recently put on display at a Licensing Expo in Las Vegas, offering a closer look at both heroes. The Flash's suit is a definite improvement over what he wore during appearances in movies like Suicide Squad and Justice League, and it's hard to find fault with what Warner Bros. has dreamed up for the Girl of Steel.
Costumes like these placed on mannequins will obviously look considerably better on screen, but a closer look at certain elements - such as the Scarlet Speedster's boots - is always welcomed. Hopefully, by the time The Flash finally reaches the big screen, Miller's legal issues will be resolved and won't completely overshadow what should be an important movie for the DCEU.
The Flash is set to arrive in theaters on June 23, 2023.
