BARRY COMES UP WITH A PLAN TO DEFEAT ZOOM — After recent events, Barry (Grant Gustin) decides it’s time to confront Zoom and comes up with a dangerous plan. Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) sides with Jay (guest star Teddy Sears) and deems it too dangerous for Barry to engage with the speed demon. However, Iris (Candice Patton) shows her support and brings forth a surprising ally. We see what Earth-2 Harrison Wells’ (Tom Cavanagh) life was like before coming through the breech. JJ Makaro directed the episode written by Gabrielle Stanton & Brooke Eikmeier.

What's the f*cking point of Flash have super speed if he can get hit by nearly any projectile.

It's plot-armour...or more like...plot-projectiles I guess.

That's just some other lady pretending to be Dr. Light to set a trap. The shitty delivery of lines is on purpose.

GliderMan you are right Flash is better than DD.

that was lame... and I like this show

Indeed.. multi-award winning/nominated big-screen star Ezra Miller hasn't a thing on these CW hacks. Why, Doctor Light's line delivery in that scene should be held up as a shining example of how really commit to a role, and engage the audience. Jesus Christ I'm getting goosebumps just thinking g about the scene... I'm going to watch it again.

@GeraltOfRivia
Good Answer xD

I think people don't watch the trailers of the episodes, thats a good thing I guess.

[SPOILER]It's part of the plan to get Zoom, Barry needs to be defeated by Light(is Linda Park of Earth-1). Of course is lame, is a fake fight!!![SPOILER]

You idiots, this is a trap on the show. That is Dr. Light's doppleganger from Earth 1. They are trying to lure Zoom out by pretending to defeat The Flash.

@Vegeta It's the only reason I couldn't get into flash. I seriously tried to get into it. I watched the first 5 episodes but after that I couldn't stand it anymore. The writing is abysmal, the teen-angst is cringe-worthy, and the all the plot points they used are so cliche'd.

Ha, sure.. right. And what's the excuse for the rest of the shit acting we see week in week out? Are they all doppelgangers?:)
blackandyellow
blackandyellow - 11/9/2015, 3:09 PM
They had Mark Hamill on the show ... I don't think superb acting is one of the CW's top concerns. But at least he didn't have to dig through an ashtray for smokes for a few weeks.

@RorMachine Not really! I wasn't aware you watched this show week in and week out? Or do you always judge watching random and out of context clips?

SPOILERS!:

This is a trap though! The real Dr. Light wasn't this hammy! The one in the article is Earth 1 Linda.

Here's another scene:

And even though the scene in the article is intentionally staged, I don't mind the superhero stuff being cheesy. Because the whole concept of the Flash is inherently fun and silly anyway! I love Captain Cold played by Wentworth Miller!

DCMarvelFanGuy - 11/9/2015, 3:36 PM
@GliderMan: I'm going to say that objectively Daredevil is a better show, but I still enjoy watching Flash more! Flash isn't afraid of getting cheesy and embraces all the silly superhero stuff that some movies don't still fully embrace. It can tackle Silver Age material and modern Flash stories in the same episode.

I watch it now and again just to feel talented. Seriously though, I'm okay with a bit of cheese in this kind of show but the majority of this is just poor quality, simple as that.

Whatever floats yer boat though. I'm just happy that goof in the suit won't stink up the big screen.

You don't even know how hilarious it is to see all the people who criticize this show for bad acting based on this clip and have no idea that this scene is a fake fight XD

Also, for the Flash vs Daredevil debate, I passionately love both shows, I just like Flash slightly more. ONLY SLIGHTLY!

DCMarvelFanGuy - 11/9/2015, 3:46 PM
@RorMachine: It's fine! Sorry if I got a bit defensive! I'd argue that it's not "poor quality" considering that's just the show's tone, but I guess we can just agree to disagree! :)
DCMarvelFanGuy
DCMarvelFanGuy - 11/9/2015, 3:47 PM
@MisterBatfleck: On the bright side, if these guys are easily fooled by the scene, maybe Zoom might fall for it too!
MarkCassidy
MarkCassidy - 11/9/2015, 3:50 PM
Lol, it has nothing to do with being "fooled" by a twist in the plot - this is par for the course acting on The Flash. I laughed all the way through the pilot and pretty much anything else I've seen. Checked out the King Shark scene and thought it looked really good, then the chick arrives with the gun and tells him to get his fins up. Sums up the show.
DCMarvelFanGuy
DCMarvelFanGuy - 11/9/2015, 3:54 PM
@GliderMan: I will agree that some of the villians aren't spot on! On the bright side we did get great portrayals of Reverse Flash, Captain Cold and Trickster.
DCMarvelFanGuy
DCMarvelFanGuy - 11/9/2015, 4:14 PM
@RorMachine: There's absolutely nothing you like? Not even Jesse. L Martin, Tom Cavangah or Wentworth Miller (and him gloriously chewing scenery)?

LMAO!!!!!!!

Look at all the haters on this thread!

Yet look at the ratings from last week and The Flash and AOS were almost dead even!!!!!!

DCMarvelFanGuy - 11/9/2015, 4:24 PM
@JoeMomma29: It is kind of shocking to see a lot of hate here. I thought Flash was generally one of the more well-recieved shows here!

I like some of those actors in other things, but not in The Flash. Scenery chewing is not a good thing unless you're making a spoof or a comedy... how am I supposed to take them seriously? There's a fine line between a bit of comic book cheese (parts of GOTG for example) and just stinking up the screen with out of date cheddar.

Joe, please don't bring ratings into it. The Transformers movies are among the most profitable of all time.. they're still shite!
JoeMomma29
JoeMomma29 - 11/9/2015, 4:29 PM
@DCMarvelFanGuy

Well Ror hates everything DC on television right now but he is entitled to his opinion. The others are the usual Marvel Fanboys.

The Flash is a comicbook come to life IMO!

yeah the acting is cheesy or hokey at times but it is all good. It seems to me only Marvel gets a pass.

Also please nod to me when DD has a better looking costume because it looks like he shops at the same costume store as The CW Flash......also please let me now he if actually starts to jump from high buildings......I have to say the original DD did that very well.

And in the grand scheme of things these shows are subject to our opinions if they are good or not. though we have to keep in mind that these shows do live and die by the ratings they do receive.

JoeMomma29 - 11/9/2015, 4:30 PM
@Rormachine

LMAO! Ummmmmm I did not know movies rely on television ratings.........they usually rely on box office revenue.

Television shows rely on ratings because ratings drive the networks to sell advertising space..............

LMAO!!!!!!!!
