Thor: Ragnarok is set to be released in the UK and a number of other international locations in less than two weeks so details about the after-credits scenes will be with us in the not too distant future. In the meantime, one lucky US-based journalist who has seen the Marvel Studios threequel has revealed on Twitter that there are a total of two scenes and it seems they're very, very different in nature.
As you can see below, one will be related to the plot while the other is simply there for laughs. That's similar to Spider-Man: Homecoming and while it's not mentioned which plot the first scene is related to, chances are it won't be Avengers: Infinity War if these comments are any indication. However, director Taika Waititi has said on numerous occasions that the movie is pretty much standalone.
There's no way of knowing what to expect one way or the other for the time being but this at least provides a little context and if you're not a fan of Marvel's funnier after-credits scenes, that second one may not be worth the wait! Early reactions to Thor: Ragnarok have been overwhelmingly positive and the signs are all pointing to it being a hit when it's released. Are you excited to check it out in theaters?
